Natural Gas Deregulation and Glacial Energy

There is a lot to be said for the proliferation of deregulation recently. It has made energy much cheaper and it has improved the quality of services in a number of industries. Not many people realize that natural gas has also been deregulated in many markets. People are less aware of this because while energy is used year-round, in many areas natural gas is only used for a couple of months per year.

Natural gas used to be dominated by public utility companies, unfortunately. This meant prices rose and the quality of the services fell precipitously. Now, however, natural gas deregulation movement has sprung up and taken hold in many markets. This has allowed for Glacial Energy, which previously offered deregulated energy services, to also offer deregulated natural gas services.
